Where did I come from?

I studied history in California, it fulfilled my curiosity to learn about people. I learned to think critically and analyse a lot of research. I loved doing oral history, talking to people who lived through a particular era, to understand the issues and make sense of the past. Talking to real people was my jam - and as a user experience designer, I've found this is my forte.

After moving to Australia, I worked my way up from sales assistant in a stationery store to retail and operations manager. I applied human centred design to many internal improvement projects which led to impressive year on year growth. My people first mindset helped create a collaborative and dedicated team environment that focused on continual improvement.

Where am I going?

As a UX designer, I aim to make a difference in the world. I'm passionate about social issues and want to do my part to make the world a little bit better.
